Service Coordination |
|
Service Coordination
is a valuable resource in helping families
of children with autism access services such
as doctors, speech therapist, recreation
programs, Social Security, etc.
At the Eden II Programs, Service
Coordinators are specifically trained in the
needs and services available to individuals
with autism. Our Service Coordinators assist
families by making referrals, completing
applications, and coordinating the multiple
services that individuals with autism are
eligible to receive.
Crisis Intervention is a program
that is designed to provide behavioral and
social support to families with a child with
developmental disabilities who does not
attend Eden II Programs on a regular basis.
Families will receive between five to eight
weeks of service depending on need. Services
will be provided by trained professionals in
the fields of psychology, behavior analysis,
social work and special education. Services
are only available to Staten Island
families.
Eden II provides Respite Services to
children and adults with autism who are in
crisis because of loss of a loved one, or
other family needs that would warrant
temporary respite services. |
